Moving Day - September 27, 2025

“It takes a village”. How often do we hear this, and even experience it, without really thinking about what it means? All I can say is that I have an incredible village! All but one of us are at least 60 years old. All these peeps (plus Tim) spent 2 1/2 hours moving our supplies from one storage unit to our work space snd then to another storage unit. Lots of heavy bins, filled with clothing and supplies for our homeless, up and down flights of stairs, in and out of a moving truck, up and fown long hallways. Lots of sweat (unusually hot day), some laughter and snarky comments, but mission accomplished and we all still love each other! So, I’m thankful for our “elderly” board of directors (and Tim) for your efforts to keep me sane and keep our ministry running smoothly as we prepare for our approaching winter months.
