Jesus on the Streets (surrounded by bees) - September 12, 2021

Today was a beautiful day in Brockton where we served 68 meals of French Toast Casserole and sausage. We were pestered by bees all day and that was just the beginning of the weirdness. There was a lot of drug dealing going on at the park (on one side) and also in a nearby parking lot (on the other side). It was sad to see but just as we treated everyone with respect, that respect was reciprocated.

Prayer requests include Michael who was praying for his family and for rent money. Patrick who lives outside, his dad is getting weaker and his mom is in cancer remission. Steve has a court case and is worried. Terry, a veteran from Sarasota, wants prayers for his ex-girlfriend in St Pete. Robert needs to find a lawyer for a civil suit. Jacquie, from last week (she was really scared), now has a knife for protection. John just wants to get out of Brockton.

Despite the weirdness, it was a really good day of service and we’re so thankful for your support!
