Jesus on the Streets (on Mother's Day) - May 14, 2023

It was a beautiful Mother’s Day in Brockton where we served 113 people and ran out of food (and had to buy some fried chicken to keep going). We gave flowers and gift cards to all the women we served. In the past 2 weeks we’ve given out 20 tents, it’s really getting out of control. We served 4 people in wheel chairs. People were in good spirits but it’s still a desperate situation in Brockton. With only 6 on the team this week we were really busy but it was a good day! Here are some of the prayer requests.

- Raymond is asking for prayers for his daughter Najah.

- Deon is asking for prayers for his Aunt with cancer.

- Patrick needs prayers of comfort and protection. He’s been sober for several months but it’s the first Mother’s Day since his mom died.

- Richard and Vivi had Birthday today.

- Felicia is thankful for safety and praying for her 3 children and 3 grandchildren. She was crying happy tears.

- Therese is thankful that last weeks prayers came true. Her ID arrived.

- Joe is praying that his mom is comforted as she’s worried about him living on the streets.

- Azure escaped an abusive relationship and is thankful for strength, guidance, and comfort.

- Donna H wants prayers for Tara as her husband Richard passed away.

- Tony has 4 more weeks of chemo and radiation and needs prayers for healing and strength.

- Alex needs prayers for his rheumatoid arthritis.

- Isaiah looks way too young and afraid to be on the streets.

Thank you again to all those who made this day of service possible! Praise God
