Jesus on the Streets (on a warm day) - March 20, 2022
On Sunday (2nd day of doubleheader) God blessed our team of volunteers from The Fellowship with a warm sunny day of serving on the streets of Brockton. The warm weather brought out a crowd as we served close to one hundred friends! There was a definite upbeat vibe perhaps brought on by the sense that Spring is just around the corner.
Today we had opportunities to pray with so many people experiencing difficulties of health, housing, finances, and addiction. We were also able to praise God for his hand working in the lives of our friends in real, tangible ways. We lift up Richard and his art work. Richard is using his artistic talents to glorify God and bring beauty to L street. Tracy, Bob and others need prayer for a place to call home. Mark asks for prayer for his hurting knees and for his efforts to get his life back in order so he can be reunited with his wife and family. As always, we are reminded of God's goodness in a dark and broken world.
We look forward to answered prayers, trusting in God's provision for our friends and for each of us. Thank you for your support!
