Jesus on the Streets (on a beautiful day) - October 31, 2021

It was a beautiful fall day (Halloween) in Brockton as we served 92 meals across 3 locations. A white dove was flying inside Pastor Roberto’s church as he preached about the Holy Spirit and one young man was taking the dove home. Ahead USA gave us winter hats to share with people. Since it was Halloween there was some craziness and we found a tent city in the woods that needed our help.

Prayer requests include: Ritchie stayed warm and dry outdoors through the storms this week. He’s mourning a friend who died 3 years ago. Don is praying for peace and safety. Jim, Sharon and Charlie are still living in their car. (Jim used to own a construction company but fell 40 ft off scaffolding, is now on disability, lost his business and is homeless.) Will was excited to get some new underwear. Robert’s car is broken down (he lives in it) and is waiting on an apartment. Junior has been clean and sober for 3 days! James and Jessica are new to the streets and she has a bad injury to her leg (in a wheel chair). They don’t know where they can sleep or where the next meal is coming from. Rashawn is wrestling with some unspoken sin from his past. Charlene used to be an accountant but is now living in a tent and helping people get their benefits.

Our friends are so appreciative of your support so we can continue to serve on the streets.
