Jesus on the Streets (on a beautiful day) - October 17, 2021

It was a beautiful Fall day today in Brockton as we served 89 meals across 2 locations on the second day of a double header weekend. People were generally cheerful and full of hope.

Raymond wanted prayers for all those living on the streets. Mike needs prayers to get his finances straightened out, and for his girlfriend’s health. Ritchie is back in the shelter and asking for protection. David is struggling with addiction. Nina is hoping to get out of the shelter and to get a job (off disability) and is offering thanks that her granddaughter’s health has improved. (We prayed for her granddaughter a few months ago.) CJ is really hurting. Joe was telling me dad jokes, “What’s the return policy on a boomerang?” Paula wants a safe home for her and her husband. Bobby’s scars are healing.

Thanks for helping us love our friends on the street!
