Jesus on the Streets - October 1, 2023

It was a dry day in Brockton (finally) as we served 120 meals of chicken cacciatore and fried chicken (we ran out of the main course). Things were kind of unsettled as our new refugee friends were feeling especially needy and many of our longer-term friends were under the weather. We even had an old friend return to say hi and that he loved us. Here we share some of the prayer requests from the streets.

- Donna (Rocky) is so happy to be in her new apartment.

- Robert (a friend we haven’t seen since 2020) stopped by to tell that he’s completing rehab and has been offered a role as a counselor/coach there. He told us several times that what he received from LYNN Ministries - love and support - cannot be measured in dollars and he thanked us profusely.

- Chris is struggling as his wife is an addict and left him, he lost his job, he can’t see his kids, and his license expired and he can’t afford to renew it to get a job. He was very discouraged.

- Christian and Conchita are asking for prayers for their kids and to be closer to God.

- Michael is praying to get into his new apartment soon.

- James is praying that his neighbors in adjacent apartments would be nicer to him.

- Julie asked for prayers for her daughter’s father who is on life support.

- Cierra is praying for an apartment and a job.

- Will is praying for his friend Sandy who lost her eye.

- Lisa has a brain tumor and is praying she survives to se her sons 25th birthday.

- Michelle was so pleased to receive new wigs as she continues to battle cancer.

Thank you all for making this ministry possible!
