Jesus on the Streets (in Attleboro) - July 8, 2023

On Saturday our team from Evangelical Covenant Church, Attleboro served our friends in Attleboro. Here is there report.

It was a beautiful day to be serving our friends in Attleboro, although for the ones living outside (and some inside), the heat is starting to be a problem for them. We served about 40 folks, cold drinks (lemonade or iced tea), homemade baked goods, snacks, fruit, summer clothing, a tent, some sneakers and boots, as well as prayer and encouragement. As mentioned, a number of our folks are struggling, and in need of prayer.

- Dino (Jack) is asking for prayers for his daughter and 2 grandsons. They have been having a hard time in their relationship, and now his daughter and grandsons are living outside in a campsite. Please pray for family reconciliation and protection.

- George is in need of housing, as he has been living in a tent outside for several months.

- Roland is in the same situation, and needs prayers that he can get housing as well.

- Bob is back in Attleboro, and struggling again with his sobriety. He does try to attend AA meetings, but wants to be more consistent. Bob is also living outside.

- Debbie is in crisis care for some gastro-intestinal problems, and needs healing prayers.

- Cindy has pancreatic cancer, and really needs prayer for her healing.

- Lastly, our friends Eric and Carrie, who are living outside, were separated for some time Friday and Saturday. Thankfully, God answered prayers, and Eric had returned home, when we came back to the campsite to give them a needed case of water. Please pray for Eric and Carrie, that they may conquer their addiction issues, with God’s help, and that they may get housing, and work. They have been trying, but have had some setbacks.

Thank you to all who support this ministry with your time, talents, cooking, giving, and prayer.
