Jesus on the Streets (cold and clear) - March 13, 2022

What an amazing day today! It was a cold but beautiful day and we had so much fun serving loaded baked potatoes to 62 people. The hot food and drinks were well received but it was the shared heartache and laughter that made it such a wonderful day.

Scott is thankful for a new job. Edgardo (our friend Junji’s brother) is mourning for his cousin Jennifer who passed away. (Junji is in hospital so needs prayers as well.) Rashawn’s cousin, Jackson, is looking for housing. Chris is has been talking to his daughters. Anthony’s dad is dying, and even though Anthony had a very bad experience with his dad he’s now wrestling if he should go visit. Unfortunately, all that stress put Anthony in a bad way and he must now restart his sobriety count (he's been sober 2 days). But we’re happy to be here to encourage him. Peaches is happy that his kids and grandchildren are doing well. Robert feels better now that he’s been getting outside and getting exercise. Jose and Cherish are hoping for better living conditions. Susan’s knee is very painful and she’s hoping to get DTA assistance to get an apartment. Russell is finally out of his wheelchair (torn groin muscle) but walking very gingerly. Bobby and Andrea are still living under the bridge. (I just don't understand.)

We are so thankful for a beautiful day and wonderful friends who share their lives with us and with you. Thank you all!
