Jesus on the Streets - April 21, 2024

Here is an update from the LYNN Ministries team at The Fellowship in Easton who served meatball subs, fresh fruit, snacks, and coffee and hot cocoa to 97 of our friends on the streets of Brockton.

We were blessed with cool, but dry weather as we spent Sunday afternoon with our friends on the streets of Brockton. As always, there were moments of joy, moments of concern, and then moments of heartbreak seeing the circumstances within which some are surviving just a few miles down the road from us. We engaged with over 80 people - a larger crowd than we've seen the past few months. So many of our old friends were there. We enjoyed listening and sharing a word or two of encouragement with many. We brought three baskets full of warm socks but did not anticipate the demand or the expressed gratitude such a small gift would bring.

We ask all of you to join us in praying for those living outside, under the rail bridges, or in dangerous places in the city. Pray for a miracle in so many lives trapped in the bondage of addiction. Pray for God's protection over the vulnerable, and pray that we'll not allow judgment to make our hearts callous to the needs around us.

Thank you to the team and to all those who prepared the food, packed the clothes, and served on the streets. Thank you also to all of our followers and supporters!
