Jesus on the Streets (3rd Saturday) - April 20, 2024
It was a wonderful day of service in the rain on the streets of Brockton where, despite the cold wet weather, we fed and clothed more than 84 people. More importantly there were many prayers shared. We had 4 new people serving with us (including2 teenagers) which is always a wonderful experience.
Prayers were requested for:
- Robert who is pleased to have a new shopping cart and to have been prescribed pain meds for his legs.
- Jessica is doing well in her battle with breast cancer but is now suffering through chemo.
- Mike was thrilled to report that his cancer is in remission and asked for prayer and Communion
- David and Jess are stuck in their car with 5 kids, 2 dogs, and all their belongings after all their plans for moving here have fallen through.
- Russell is thankful to be out of his wheelchair and moving well after breaking his neck about 6 months ago. In his words, “prayer works!”
- Carlotta was so excited to see us and report that she’s gotten the courage to have surgery on her knee next month. (It was also her Birthday.)
- Dayan is estranged from his family and feeling very lonely
Thank you all to the team that served in the rain and for all our followers and supporters!
