Brockton - September 20, 2026
Here is an update from the LYNN Ministries team that served on Sunday in the rain.
Have you ever been blindsided by a stranger asking for assistance, usually asking for money, sometimes food and in rare occasions for someone to listen to their plight.
This is the mission of LYNN Ministries, thing is our LYNN Ministries Teams are not blindsided by requests such as these. Our goal is the same as it always has been in God’s Kingdom “when he told us, whoever is generous to the poor lends to the Lord, and he will repay him for his deeds.” Proverbs 19:17
So on Sunday September 20, LYNN Ministries/The Fellowship Team was in Brockton meeting the needs of people that our God cares for, so much more than we know.
On Sunday we served 105 meals, we handed out over 50 pairs of socks and 37 sweatshirts all donated by Proverbs 19:17 people.
We’ll end with this, today one of our team asked one of the people we serve (a guy) if he would like to pray with him. “He said no, this morning I prayed asking God to meet my needs today and God answered me, he sent you and then he said thank you.” That was one of the many interactions we had with grateful people living on the margins in Brockton. Today our goal was and always is to bring the Hope of God to people living an overlooked life in Brockton.
Pray as you are lead for our Friends in Brockton.
