Brockton - October 18, 2026
Here is an update from the LYNN Ministries team that served on Sunday.
Every trip into Brockton presents unique challenges and opportunities. As always, today we fed 94 hungry, thankful people, prayed with many who were eager for the opportunity, and provided many much-needed words of encouragement. Most notably today, under a gorgeous Fall sun, we had an exceptional number of deep, meaningful conversations with friends who are hurting, grateful, or just needing to be heard. One of our team members had a heart-to-heart conversation with an active user. Our team member’s own experience and expertise allowed him to speak directly and with hope to a man in desperate straits. It was a beautiful reminder of how God takes the ugly things and brokenness of our past and redeems them, often allowing us to speak truth and love into another hurting person’s life.
We distributed a trunkload of clothing, about 20 ACTS prayer cards (instruction on how to pray, several Scripture cards, and one Bible were distributed. Please pray that these are encouraging and helping people to stay warm in the winter months ahead, pray, and to read the Bible.
