Brockton - November 3, 2024

Here is an update from today’s team that’s served in Brockton. Thank you to our wonderful team that served in our absence! (This picture is in honor of Deb’s upcoming ankle replacement surgery.)

We had a great team today, and one of the new team members was especially touched to see a mom sacrifice her sweatshirt so her little boy wasn’t cold. She teared up telling us how it reminded her about the sacrifices her mom has made for her.

The first stop was really busy with a long line, but our friends were patient. Tracy was a prayer warrior today. She had a bottle of anointing oil and she was on fire! We gave out all 15 blankets that we had available.

Here is the list of prayers:

- Many people received general prayers and received anointing oil of gladness reminding them of God’s presence and his love.

- Haja: to be reunited with her daughter and peace of God.

- Francisco: scheduled for surgery next week (finally!). Pray for wisdom for the doctors, for a smooth and successful surgery and speedy recovery.

- Steven: pray that the apartment rental goes through, and pray for a smooth transition from shelter to the apartment.

- Terra: pray for her relationship with her daughter. Prayer for forgiveness and their hearts towards each other.

- John and Ashley: they are living in a tent in the woods. They asked prayer for their children.

- Tony: he is asking prayers for financial stability, asking blessings for himself, his girlfriend, his child and his family. He has faith in God.

- Donna: will be 71 years old in few weeks and is deeply sad how long she's fought her battle of addiction. Prayers for strength to continue to fight and seek healing.

- Courtney: praying to stay healthy and for warm shelter.

- Jamie: did not want prayer, but said maybe next week.

- Brittany and husband: currently staying in a friend's garage, they’re grateful but it is cold and not comfortable.

- Noriega: asked for saftey and kindness in their community.

- Diane: wants a recent Supreme Court decision to be overturned that allows homeless people to be arrested if found sleeping/living on public land.

- Travis: asked for serenity.

We are thankful for all the LYNN Ministries supporters and followers. We feel your prayers for our mission and we appreciate your engagement!
