Brockton - July 6, 2025
It was a really hot day in Brockton as we served almost 100 people across three locations. Before going out on the streets, we prayed that tempers would be cool even as the temperatures got hot. God honored that request, and we only ran into one person who was a problem and that was quickly addressed. There were so many needs expressed on the street that it was a little bit overwhelming , but God is good. We had volunteers from the following churches: Church of Emmanuel, South Shore Community Church, St Gregory the Theologian Greek Orthodox Church, St. Mary's Foxboro.
Here are the prayers that were shared with us:
* Guardno - is asking to have a better relationship with Jesus.
* Freddy - who is in a wheelchair is praying that he can get out of the heat and into a new apartment.
* Donna - is very sad about our friend Will who is in the hospital fighting cancer. She is also hoping for a decent place to live.
* Kevin - is hoping to find new housing because he must leave his apartment. He’d like to stay in Brockton because all of the places he needs to go are within walking distance.
* Marie - is praying that she can help out and stay sober in recovery.
* Anthony - is praying for Stephanie and her son Nicholas and for his Nana.
