Brockton - July 19, 2026
Here is the update from last Sunday’s LYNN Ministries team that served in Brockton.
Our day in Brockton was full of beauty and marred by broken corruption. Our team was blessed with a beautiful day of abundant sunshine, low humidity and a lite breeze. But then there was the broken world images. Upon arrival our team started to connect with hurting people, one person spoke of a life of anxiety due to living on the street … belongings stolen, life threatened, uncertainty of day to day living. Some people spoke of being so very hungry and their gratefulness for the cold drinks, fruit, snacks, and today’s main attraction of cold macaroni salad.
Listening is the most important aspect of what we do. Most of our friends share their concerns but some do not, we pray with anyone who wants their concerns brought to our Lord and savior. Our Haitian team members bring a valuable component to the ministry to bridge language barriers.
He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you
but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?
