Brockton - December 21, 2025
Here is a (much belated) update from the LYNN Ministries team based at The Fellowship church in Easton about last Sunday.
Dear Lynn Ministry family. Today we went into Brockton for the last time before the Christmas holiday to serve the homeless and bring a message of hope through a hot meal, clothing, conversation, and prayer. We served about 75 grateful friends. As always, we are moved by the interactions that remind us how close our Lord is, how He is moving even in dark places, and how His love heals brokenness.
On Sunday, we were treated to a singing of O Come All Ye Faithful, by our friend, Michelle. We saw the joy a gift of a tarp and blankets given to Stanley and Jess. We encouraged Alfred with the gospel of John while listening to him recount his battle with addiction and desire for a new way of living. We reminded Alfred that Jesus is the Light of the World and "The Light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it."
We pray the Gospel of truth that we so desire our homeless friends to hold on to will also take hold of your heart, and cause you to sing a song of praise for the wonders of His love!
Merry Christmas!
