Brockton - December 20, 2025

It was a beautiful day in Brockton on Saturday. Temperatures were dropping after a big storm in Boston with a lot of wind and rain and a lot of power outages (including our home). So close to holidays always brings out a lot of churches giving away clothes and food. We served 87 meals of roast pork, potatoes, and veggies along with fruit and home baked goods. We also had a full complement of clothes, toiletries, and Christmas gifts. Our team included volunteers from: Church of Emmanuel, St. Mary's Foxboro, The Fellowship, Arabic Evangelical Baptist Church Of Boston, Grace Chapel

There is a long list of prayer requests:

– Wilfredo is praying that everyone will come to know Jesus

– Francisco is very excited because his wife is coming back to Brockton on Sunday.

– Felix and Stanley were in good spirits and Stanley was asking for prayers for Jessica who is in the hospital

– Guy prayed the Lord’s prayer for me in Haitian Creole. He was so touched that he was crying as we hugged at the end of the prayer.

– Anthony is praying that he can get his seizure medication‘s adjusted so that he feels better.

– Sean is praying for a job and for protection because he gets bullied frequently.

– Marie is praying for her daughter and for her grandson.

– Malik is praying for housing, to see the process of sobriety all the way through, and for strength because many friends have been dying recently

– Anastasia has a birthday on Christmas Day and Harry’s birthday is also very close so we sang to both of them.

– Kenny told us that a friend, Al, died in a rooming house at the age of 92

– Alfred is praying to be productive and to stay out of trouble.

– Skip is very ill and just wants an opportunity to get back on his feet. He pays $950 a month for a 100 ft.² room with a small kitchenette.

– Mike and Max have been living outside and are praying for Mike’s son and Max’s daughter.

– Danny was evicted and is living outside and praying for new housing.

– Steve is praying about all of the members of his family who have been dying and how he needs some hope.

– Jennifer lost her mom during the holidays and is having a very hard time this season.

– Stephanie is praying about her mental health issues

Thank you so much to all the volunteers who made the day special for our friends on the streets that includes the people in the background who contribute money and time to making sure we have all the supplies we need to reach the lost in the invisible. Merry Christmas everyone!
