Brockton - August 31, 2025
We are so thankful for our LYNN Ministries team that served on Sunday while we were at a wedding. The team had volunteers from Church of Emmanuel, South Shore Community Church, Beacon Covenant Church, Attleboro, St. Mary's Foxboro, Grace Chapel.
We had wonderful weather this past Sunday, temperature was about 75°. Kinda windy at our first stop and overall we served approx. 104 of our guests.
Many prayer requests and many needs for housing, food, etc.
Sheila - asked for prayer for a job.
Freddy (Sullivan) - needs funds and a place to live.
Sue - for pain relief after surgery.
Patrick - feeling better, asked for prayers for family and friends.
Rebecca - needs housing
Sean - pray for safety while he lives on the streets
Sheila - has been sick and went to the hospital.
AJ - pray for a good day
Tara - prayers for better days
John (Bruins) - needs a new place to move into, as his rent has gone up.
Francisco - Dr said he is doing OK.
Manny - pray for safety
Rebecca - has been clean for 1-1/2 year!
Lisa - her bank account was hacked.
Shaggy - needs a dr appointment.
James (wheelchair) - his 'step mother' passed away in June.
Mary - was recently released from the hospital
Sean - is being fitted for a new leg socket this week.
Michael - safety on the streets.
Lorraine - praying for her disability paperwork.
Gerard - pray for life in general.
Charmaine - pray for housing, health, and safety.
Darcy - he got saved last week! He went thru a dark period where he did some soul searching and discovered that Christ is the way! He came over to tell the Team how thankful he is for us coming out bringing food.
Tommy - is new to the streets, a young man who really does not know what to do next.
Sarah - is a young lady who is also new to the streets. asked for prayers to stay clean, not get beat up, and for safety.
As you can see there are many needs on the streets that go beyond the meal we serve. It’s not about the food it’s about relationships and conversation and prayer. Thank you all for helping us do this important work!
