Brockton - August 24, 2025

Sunday was a beautiful day to be out serving the homeless in Brockton, where we provided 105 meals across three locations. We had a small team of six people which kept all of us very busy. It was nice for me to let David take over prayer responsibilities so that I could serve on the food line where I had the opportunity to greet every single person we served.

We had volunteers from Church of Emmanuel and South Shore Community Church.

There are many prayer requests for us to share:

– Richard is praying to get permanent housing.

– Adilson is praying for his mom who has lupus.

– Jay is praying for everything.

– Mike (1) is praying to have a better state of mind.

– Sandy is praying to have a better life.

– Tara is praying for her daughter and her family.

– Rob is praying for his family.

– Michelle is praying for everyone in the park that they remain safe

– Donna is praying to get out of Brockton and for a friend in Jamaica.

– Mike (2) is praying to stay on the path recovery.

– Joseph is praying for his family.

– Ranger is praying that he can get into detox.

– Kaffe is praying to find some good work.

– Taylor is praying for his family.

– Jeremy is praying for people around to stay blessed and for his family

– Joshua is praying not to be led astray.

– Michael is thankful that his girlfriend is recovering from food poisoning.

We are so very thankful for all those who contribute to LYNN Ministries and making this work possible. We know that not all those we minister to will find a better life or more importantly turn towards Jesus, but since we don’t know which ones will respond, we continue to serve all those that God brings before us, and to provide them dignity and respect, care, concern, provisions, and love. Thank you for making this possible!
