Brockton - August 10, 2025
Here is an update from today’s team that served in Brockton. We had volunteers from Church of Emmanuel, Beacon Covenant Church, Attleboro, South Shore Community Church, St. Mary's Foxboro, Waters Church.
What do you do on a hot summer day at LYNN Ministries? Of course you go into the streets to serve hotdogs, cold pasta salad, and cooling drinks. It was a beautiful day serving in the streets of Brockton today. We served 125 meals and shared many prayers. While a few prayer requests are from moms for their children, it’s worth mentioning that a couple of our volunteers on the team today recently lost their moms. They carried their grief and served with smiles like the rock stars they are.
It’s a blessing and privilege to be the hands and feet of Jesus and share our only hope. Please join us in praying for our friends:
- Freddy is in constant pain and "just surviving”. Please pray for peace of mind and God’s healing for him.
- Mariam just got kicked out by her boyfriend of 8 years. Please pray for her.
- Arnold, Jean and MJ can only speak Spanish, and they let us pray over them in English, for blessing, provision and God’s love.
- Freddy lost his sister last year, is afraid of death and wants prayer for peace of mind and good health.
- Carlos sees spiritual battles but denies them and puts his trust only in Jesus.
- Jackeem was evicted, but still knows that he has a purpose and tries to stay sober.
- Linda just got an apartment and is trying to find God’s purpose for it.
- Dereck wants to go home to New Hampshire. Please pray for him.

Thank you so much for your continued prayers, help and support of LYNN Ministries. So many of you show up and offer what you can regardless of what you are going through in life. Your impacts are beyond what we can see.
