Attleboro - August 9, 2025
Here is an update from the LYNN Ministries team from Beacon Covenant Church, Attleboro that served in Attleboro last week.
It was a beautiful day to be out serving the Lord in Attleboro this Saturday. We were able to serve about 45 people in need with clothing, lanterns for outside, cold drinks, snacks, and homemade baked goods. Although it was hot, spirits were generally good. Unfortunately, the number of folks living outside continues to grow, as expected, during the warmer months. We'll start with the great news, which is that Beth and Geno, the couple who we met a couple of years ago, now have housing! Praise God! We met them a couple of years ago, living outside, and they were in that predicament for a couple of years. We were able to attend their wedding, and the prayers for housing from many of you, were answered. Geno has a good lead on a job, and they also have a lead on a car for transportation. God is good, all the time. In terms of folks living outside, we know of Bob, Bob, Matt, Mark, Richard, Valerie, Jim, George, Carrie, Eric, Paul, Nick, Dana, Brenda, Mike, Jessica, Amanda, Scott among others. Please pray for all of them for housing, which can lead to them making progress in other areas of their lives.
Other prayer needs:
Eric and Carrie - Strength in their battles with addiction
Julio - Another joy, Julio is getting a car cleaning/detailing business off the ground, and is looking for help to get business cards printed.
Geno - That his job opportunity in plumbing will come through.
Valerie - Asked for prayers for peace
Mark (Geno's brother) - Wants to get back to work, and into an apartment.
Veronica - Wants more hours at work, and that the selling of her building to a new landlord, will result in overdue repairs, and stable rent.
Marie - Needs to have her cochlear implant replaced, and is running into issues with her care and insurance.
Linda - Wants prayers for her niece
Patricia - Prayers for her family (5 generations including herself), that they have health, and that her grandson can complete a contracting job soon, to spend more time with her.
Thank you to all of you for your contribuitions to this vital ministry, bringing dignity to God's children who are most in need. Thank you for the prayers, donations, contributions of food, and everything that you do to help.
