Attleboro - October 10, 2026
Here is an update from the LYNN Ministries team that served in Attleboro last Saturday.
It was a beautiful fall day to be out serving our friends on the streets of Attleboro. There's increasing need out there, as we took a higher number of special orders (shoes/boots, etc.), than normal. With the cold weather coming, warm footwear is one of the things most important to our friends. We are in the process of going out on trips to find out where folks are living outside, as many have moved due to the closing of a large campground the consequential displacement. There is also more demand for tents, tarps, and other outdoor survival items, with the winter coming. We were grateful to deliver 3 tents this month, but more are needed.
Thank you to all of you who support this ministry in so many ways: Prayer, donations of clothing or funds, cooking, serving, encouraging, and in other ways. It is all appreciated by our team, and by those that we serve. Below are some prayer requests for this month:
- Eric and Carrie are living outside and trying to re-establish relationships with family.
- Mark was hit by a car crossing the street and suffered a broken collarbone and injured shoulder. He is in good spirits, and starting to heal, but is living outside.
- Bob was in good spirits although living outside as well. He is doing some landscaping work and is grateful for the work.
- Paul is back in the area (living outside) after having worked in Taunton for some time. That work has ended, so prayers for more work for Paul.
- Charlie is also outside, but in good spirits, and planning to put some energy into serving others.
- Richard is thankful for LYNN Ministries and the things we are able to provide. He has great faith, a room, and good health at the moment.
Thank you to our many supporters who make this mission possible.
