Attleboro - November 8, 2025
Here is an update from the LYNN Ministries team at Beacon Covenant Church, Attleboro who served on Saturday in Attleboro.
Saturday was a beautiful day in downtown Attleboro. The rain stopped shortly before we began serving our friends at our usual 4 locations. This month, we continued our partnership with Beacon Covenant Church of Attleboro, whose youth group staffed most of our volunteer positions.
With support from a few regular adult volunteers, teenagers energetically led our core services with clothing for women and men plus snacks and hot beverages, and, of course, friendship and personal connection.
Pastor Chris was one of our team’s leaders this month, with personalized pastoral care for many friends. We were joined by a lot of our regular friends, plus a few new faces, including some with small children. In total, we likely served more than 60 people for one of our busiest days in Attleboro.
Tent City remains, but with fewer residents at the moment. A couple of our regular friends were able to secure new housing and employment, so there is much to celebrate and praise! Our team’s relationships with some of our new friends, whom we met for the first time in recent months and who presently live outdoors, are continuing to grow.
As always, we spent some time with Ms. LeBlanc, and then Carrie & Eric. Although it is not part of our regular monthly service, on Saturday we delivered a lot of shoes that had been requested in prior months. These were a huge hit. For many of our friends who are regularly traveling everywhere by foot, shoes are a huge need, especially as some of them are trying to re-enter the workforce.
Please pray for all of our friends in Attleboro.
