Attleboro - July 11, 2026
Here is an update from the LYNN Ministries team that served In Attleboro on Saturday.
It was a beautiful, sunny day to be out serving God's children in Attleboro this past Saturday. We were able to serve about 45 people with women's and men's clothing, tents, sneakers, fruit, homemade baked goods, snacks, lemonade, iced tea, as well as prayer and encouragement. All seasons are hard to be living outside, winter is really tough but our friends who are outside during the summer, are suffering with the heat, heavy rain (which soaks everything for days), mosquitoes, spiders, and numerous other challenges. Still, people are always happy to see us, and grateful for the time, prayer, and words we share with them. Some have very little social interaction, so it is our pleasure to spend time with them. We are grateful also for the Attleboro Area Interfaith Collaborative (Food and Friends), who are able to provide a hot meal (but only one) each day of the week. Please pray that AAIC is able to continue their great work, supporting our friends. Below is our prayer list for this month. Also, please pray for LYNN Ministries, as we continue to try and meet some of the necessities of God's children, who are most in need.
Prayers
- Patricia who is having some health issues, and we have not been able to visit for 2 months.
- Eric, who lives outside, and has been hospitalized in Boston.
- Carrie who is waiting for Eric to come home.
- Bob, who lost his tent to someone who took it, and is in need of another.
- Richard, a man who has great faith in God, and smiles every time we see him, despite some lingering health problems.
- Lloyd, a prayer of joy, as he has been accepted into a housing program after applying 3 years ago! Praise God, and a smooth transition for Lloyd.
- Chandra and Justin who are fairly new to living outside and trying to adjust.
- George Jr., who is living outside, and finding it difficult to deal with the heat, and the arguments that sometimes arise among homeless friends.
- Robin, who is a woman of faith, and often prays for us. She's a little discouraged with life's challenges at the moment.
- Alex and Holly who are living outside.
- Paul, who is living outside but has found some work painting houses. We pray that he is able to paint even in the extreme heat.
- Val, who is currently struggling with some legal issues.
Thanks to all of you who support this ministry in so many ways, but especially with prayer, as we have had some answered prayers this month, (Lloyd and Paul). We feel the prayers and love from all of you for us, and the people whom we serve.
