Brockton - July 5, 2026

It was a beautiful day on Sunday to be serving on the streets of Brockton. It started out hazy and warm but was sunny and hot by the time we got off the streets. LYNN Ministries served 77 meals across three locations and offered many prayers. All this with only 6 people.

Here’s the prayer list:

– Shaggy was excited to talk about lighting candles for four different friends. He’s looking for more work and he’s praying that he will be able to get his medicine from the pharmacy (he’s been having problems getting his medicine).

– Jaqui is hoping for sanity and praying for her brother who recently passed away, for health, and for money.

– Amanda is praying for her husband for her Nana and mother, both of whom are in heaven, for her children, and for being sober from heroin for over six months.

– (Zamboni) John is thankful that the price of gas has gone down, which makes it possible for him to work by putting gas into his lawnmower.

– Michele is praying that everyone gets a word from God this week. She’s also thankful for the music that she’s been listening to that makes her cry.

– Eddy is praying for his seven-year-old son and for his cousin who died recently in Boston.

– Ricky is thankful for all of us serving.

– Chelsea is praying to find herself again.

– Jack is hoping for a relaxing break.

– Anthony needs prayers because the heat causes him seizures and he lost his glasses.

– Becca has now been sober for 4 1/2 months.

– Gill is praying that he can finally get out fishing.

– Trevor is thankful for work in one of the rooming houses and to evangelize people as he does his work.

– Jen is frightened because she has an enlarged thyroid that needs to have a biopsy. She will be making the appointment on Wednesday but is very worried.

– Nelson is praying for his mom and dad. He is thankful that he is able to avoid drugs (most days). “The problems will still be there when you get sober.” He is praying for God to appear to him.

– Sara has an abscess under her arm and is living in a car. She desperately needs prayer.

– Kimberly is out of jail, clean and sober, and living in a halfway house. She is thankful for having gone to jail to get sober.

– The list of people that simply want (or need) prayer includes: Sheila, Manny, Rashawn, Kyle, Red-shirt guy, Sal, Kenny, Heather, the woman struggling/tripping in the park, and Sharon.

We are so very thankful for all those who contribute to LYNN Ministries’ success. Please keep praying because the streets need your prayers.
