Attleboro - February 14, 2026

Here is an update from Saturday’s LYNN Ministries team that served in Attleboro. Thanks to Beacon Covenant Church, Attleboro for leading the team.

It was a cold, but nonetheless great day to be out serving the Lord this past Saturday in Attleboro. We served about 45 of our friends, some of whom are still living outside in these cold temps and snowy conditions. We are aware of at least 10-15 folks that are regularly living outside. Unlike last winter, the city is not running any warming centers so the homeless are totally reliant on churches to fill this great need. Fortunately, a couple of churches have stepped up, but there is a shortage of volunteers to cover the 7pm to 7am shifts. Please pray for more volunteers, and churches to open their doors to help our friends on these cold nights.

Prayer List - Bob S who needs prayer that he can get a new ID, so that he can start applying for jobs, and collect his overdue unemployment benefits. Right now, they are held up because his existing license has expired. Bob is living outside and wants to get back to work badly.

Dayna - Who is living outside, wants to re-establish a good relationship with her mom. She was very sad and emotional as we prayed over her, and asked God to answer her prayers.

Matt, Rob, Kelly, Eric, and Carrie - All living outside. Matt has found pretty regular work and is trying to make improvements in his situation.

James - Living outside with severe breathing issues that have required hospitalization a couple of times in the last month. We pray that his breathing improves and that he has the will to quit smoking.

Warming center volunteers - Please giving thanks for their efforts and dedication, and for more people to step up and try to help out.

Bob - We haven't seen our friend in a couple of months, and he had been living outside. We pray that he is okay.

We are so very thankful to all those who make this ministry possible.
