Attleboro - August 8, 2026

It was a warm, sunny day to be out serving God's children in Attleboro this past Saturday. We served about 55 people in 3 locations with women's and men's clothing, fruit, home-made baked goods, snacks, lemonade, iced tea, as well as prayer, encouragement and warm friendship.

The heat in the middle of the day was a challenge, and it kept a few of our longtime friends away. It was also a good reminder of the conditions faced by many in our community who are often overlooked. Many without sustained breaks from the outdoor environment while facing countless other challenges. Despite the heat, we saw a lot of smiles. Our team is always grateful for the warm welcome and time shared together.

Praise is offered because several of our dearest friends are getting professional help in this moment. Below is a short prayer list for this month. Also, please pray for LYNN Ministries, as we continue to try and meet some of the necessities of God's children, who are most in need.

Prayers

- Patricia who is having some health issues, and we have not been able to visit for 3 months even though we stopped by again.

- Carrie & Eric, who struggle with addiction and family relations.

- Bob, who needs a tent because of some recent damage.

- Paul and Val who are living in a camp that is expected to close very soon, without any clear path to alternative housing. The threat of forced removal is daunting.

- Mike, who is making progress on some important health issues and needs a clear path to get back on a successful track like he had in recent past.

- Jessica, who is getting treatment.

- Mark, who is starting counseling.

- Beth, who is planning to visit family soon.

- Geno, who is getting treatment.

Thanks to all of you who support this ministry in so many ways, but especially with prayer, as we have had some answered prayers this month, (Lloyd and Paul). We feel the prayers and love from all of you for us, and the people whom we serve.
