Jesus on the Streets - December 4, 2022
It was a cold but beautiful day today in Brockton as a team from the Intervarsity Christian club at Wheaton College helped us serve 60 meals to our friends on the streets. It’s the beginning of the month and it was dry so many of our friends were elsewhere.
We have a number of prayer requests and life updates to share.
We gave Cici a new tent last week and after one night the city came through and destroyed it. (He said it was a really nice tent.)
Eddie asked for prayers for Kristen who died two months ago. He is still so sad and doesn’t know where her family buried her.
Anthony R (the missionary) reports that since his voice box was removed he has been declared cancer free.
William was clean for 4 years but recently fell off the wagon and is now trying to get clean again. He is asking for prayers for strength.
Mike has bone cancer but still finds it possible to praise God everyday. Today he was pushing Tito in his wheelchair and talking about God.
George is sad because his friend Diane died three days ago.
Jay has a really a bad ankle and is fighting with insurance for coverage.
We served two Spanish speaking families with little kids who needed winter coats so we’re taking care of that.
Sadly our friends Bobby, Andrea, and Sammy were all “under the weather” and misbehaving.
We are so appreciative for our new friends from Wheaton. Good luck on your finals! Thank you to all the supporters who keep LYNN Ministries going!
