Jesus on the Streets of Attleboro (on a beautiful day) - August 13, 2022

Here is a report from the Evangelical Covenant Church, Attleboro team that served on Saturday.

It was a beautiful day to serve our friends in Attleboro today, as the sun was out, but the temps and oppressive heat down a bit. We were able to serve about 40 of our friends, with homemade baked goods, fruit, snacks, and cold drinks.

Bob and Geno were extremely grateful for their sneakers. Bob was also thankful for answered prayers for a nice dinner with family last month. Clifford was joyful over receiving his AA one year coin, and for re-connecting with family. He’s asking for prayers for his continued sobriety. Richard was thankful for the Lord answering his prayers, as he continues to recover from a stroke. He says he is feeling better, and has a good relationship with God. Maria is asking for prayers for her knee pain and family. Mike is still trying to mentally process finding Carlos and reporting his death to the police in June. He needs continued prayer for sobriety, and loss of his friend. Janet needs prayer for her ankle and foot pain. Lloyd is asking for prayer, as he has lost his temporary housing, and is on the streets again. Ms. LeBlanc was thankful for our prayers for her daughter in Florida, who is doing better with her health issues, and was able to go out and visit a friend for the first time in a long while.

We found a new campsite, along with an older one, which both appear to be actively occupied. Prayers for whomever may be living there.

Thank you for your continued support and prayers for this ministry in Attleboro.
