Jesus on the Streets - January 8, 2023

Sunday in Brockton was a beautiful day but colder than it seemed as we served 75 meals of Buffalo chicken.

After a week of rain most people were in a good mood but they were desperate for jackets and blankets as anyone outside had wet clothes. Dave seemed to be tripping in the park next door (very erratic) and then got into a shouting match with Christine but by the time he came over for lunch he was courteous and well behaved.

We had a number of prayer requests

  • Raymond still wants to search for his daughter Najah in Somerville but it’s been 4 mos and he hasn’t yet started looking for her.

  • Victor wants prayers for his son Daniel and wife Olga.

  • Angela wants prayers for her sons Christopher and Aiden.

  • Cheryl & Donald claim that everything in their lives is just bad.

  • Freddy wants prayers for Debbie and her broken wrist.

  • Burt is praying for a job.

  • Tharon is praying for safety.

  • Sammy was feeling better but his back is still in pain.

  • Rui was in tears because his girlfriend left him and took his 2 children.

We had 2 new people join us to serve and they were deeply moved by the day. We are so pleased to be able to share this ministry with others and we appreciate all our supporters who make this possible. Thank you!
