Jesus on the Streets on New Year’s Day - January 1, 2023
It was a beautiful New Year’s Day in Brockton as we served 77 meals of red pepper and chicken soup along with baked goods and snacks. The whole team (and our friends) were missing Debbie, who slipped on ice and broke her wrist yesterday. Most of our friends were in a good mood but many of our regulars were missing. There were a number of prayer requests.
Chris is praying for a better economy and prosperity.
Ray is looking for his daughter Najah.
Kendra is praying that her right foot would be healed. (She’s in a walking boot.)
Matthew and Jeanette are looking for work. (He’s in the trades.)
Robert is looking for a place to live.
Michelle asked for prayers for Titi & Malik, who need housing.
Ernest is praying for strength to get through the hard times until the good times arrive.
Joan needs an apartment.
We’re off to a good start for 2023, and we hope that our supporters will be praying for our success. Thank you for 2022 and we look forward to the New Year!
