Jesus on the Streets (on a super windy day) - April 16, 2022
It was a warm, windy day in Brockton on the first day of a doubleheader weekend (did I say it was windy?). We served Philly Cheese Steak casserole to 94 people across 6 locations in the city. Lots of Easter prayers and well-wishes.
Irene was feeling very down as today was the 34th Anniversary of her mom dying and the arthritis in her body makes it difficult to move. Raymond is worried about his daughter who has MS and is now doing drugs. Chris was in a good way but his girlfriend Jacqueline was in an altered state (perhaps off her meds). Bobby shared that his niece Princess didn’t die of an OD but was beaten to death. (The city seems out of control right now.) Jose claims he was falsely accused of a crime but is headed to police station to turn himself in. Steve is still in the hospital. Our new friend Milton is looking for mechanic work. Anthony is very worried about the health of his older sister. Jeanette is praying that when she gets her next check she won’t buy crack. Dawn and Mike need clothes. Kevin is worried for his ex-wife who is battling cancer and needs more faith.
Real concerns and prayer requests from our friends. Please be praying for them this week. Thank you for supporting us. Happy Easter!
