Jesus on the Streets (on a sunny day) - August 1, 2021
It was a gorgeous day to be serving in Brockton, as it was both warm and dry. We served 86 meals of fajitas, home baked goods, fruit, etc. at two locations. It was my first day out since I had back surgery and it was nice to be welcomed by so many people who had been praying for me.
The city is still unsettled since Eric’s murder and a lot of our friends are still trying to figure out their new normal. For prayer requests, John is asking for help resisting alcohol and saving money. Vincent’s green card paperwork is still tied up in Washington. Tyrrell is asking to be more patient and able to help his family. Bobby is disappointed that he hasn’t yet had the strength to go into rehab.
