Jesus on the Streets (on a cold, wet day) - December 18, 2021

It was a cold wet day in Brockton on the first day of a double header weekend. We served 81 meals of roast pork loin across 5 locations and gave out clothes, toiletries, and Christmas gifts (including laundry cards, and Dunkin’ cards). We had 4 students from Grace Chapel, Foxboro join us as we visited people in the woods, living under bridges, and in a variety of dire circumstances, so there were some poignant prayers.

Andrea is praying for her 2 children and for an apartment. Robert is happy to have his car repaired so he can sleep in it and is praying his daughter will respond to his calls. Jessica was badly beaten last night including an open laceration on the top of her head. Jonathan had his foot amputated after getting an infection from bad drugs and is praying to receive his prosthetic foot on Monday. Rob is praying for his 86 year-old mother. Bobby and Andrea were thrilled to get hand knit hats and scarves. Our friends, Bryon and Steve, are both in the hospital. Mona is asking for prayer for a new church community and is feeling spiritual warfare.

We were all cold and wet by the end of the day, but we’ll be ready to go again tomorrow. Thanks for making this ministry possible!
