Jesus on the Streets (on a cloudy day) - October 10, 2021
It was an overcast day in Brockton but we had a wonderful time serving 81 meals across 2 locations. The team was saddened to hear that our long-time friend Paulette passed away just days after being released from the hospital. (Can 2021 give us a break from death and violence already?) When we went to the Library, all the tents had been cleared out from the nearby park.
Steve is asking for prayers for his friend Robert, and Robert is asking for prayers to overcome the growing physical weakness he has been feeling. (He promised me he was going to YMCA tomorrow for a shower and then to the hospital.) Tyrrell is now housed and is asking for stability in his life and to avoid temptation along with prayers for his daughter. Patrick got to see his father (first time in 4 years) and although his father is sedated he was able to acknowledge Patrick’s presence. Kimberly is asking for prayers for her 4 children. Kenny said hi and is out of his tent and in the shelter. Gina has no family that cares about her. Tony has hip surgery on Dec 21. John is happy to be back at work after overcoming MRSA. Khashif is asking for prayers for Satan to be kept away from him.
Thank you again for helping us bless our friends and making this ministry possible.
