Jesus on the Streets (on a beautiful day) - May 29, 2022

What a gorgeous day to be serving our friends in Brockton! We served 94 meals and had no leftovers, everything was cleaned out. It was great to have Patrick back on the team and Martina joined us for the first time. There was a steady stream of prayer request and I wrote down a total of 21.

Donna’s scooter was stolen (even with a lock on it) and so she was asking for prayers that it would be recovered. Jonathan was asking for peace with his fiancé and the ability to sleep. Robert is mad at God because his Uncle died last week. Bob is still struggling with his son dying in a car accident last Thanksgiving. Patrick needs a new phone so he can talk to his mom. Rashawn had a good day last week and is hoping for more. Michelle has a long list of family problems and has turned to alcohol (she feels ready to give up). Raymond is praying to get guns off the streets. Charlie’s new grandson was born healthy. Tyrrell’s mother has surgery coming up and he’s asking for prayers for a runaway girl named Kaitlin. Olavo is struggling as he’s living outside and bathing in the river.

It really was an amazing day with an amazing team. Happy Memorial Day to everyone and take time to remember the sacrifices of our armed forces.
