Jesus on the Streets (no rain!) - April 3, 2022

It was a really nice day in Brockton (it didn’t rain!). We served 85 meals and ran out of hot cocoa. It started kind of stressful as we had a small team but reinforcements arrived and things were hopping. Deb was away singing and left me in charge of delivering last week’s special orders. (That’s a stressful job.) Fortunately, Pete was helping me with prayers and all our friends were treated to a heavy dose of love and respect.

Chuck is excited to be going back to work. Anthony is exhausted and sober (yay)! Kenny’s knee still needs healing. Harry’s girlfriend (Laverne) is moving into an apartment. Corinne needs someone to fix her window. Rashawn seemed in low spirits and just wanted to hang out with us. Donna has been having more seizures and is hoping a hospital stay next week will uncover what’s wrong. John doesn’t have throat cancer but a lot of scar tissue from drinking and smoking. Devon is getting a social security card and entering a work program in Boston. Eddie is worried about Kristin who’s in the hospital. Bobby is waiting for a bed to open at High Point for rehab.

Thank you all so much for your love and support!
