Jesus on the Streets (in Attleboro) - February 10, 2024

Here is an update from the LYNN Ministries team at Evangelical Covenant Church, Attleboro who served on Saturday in Attleboro.

It was a warm sunny day in Attleboro. Many were lined up ready to meet us and looking forward to the provisions, conversation, and prayer. We served over 35 people across 4 locations. Here are the prayer requests:

- We pray for Jack as we learned of his brother Willy’s passing just a few days after serving in January and another of his brothers passing just a week after Willy. Jack is terribly sad and we grieve with him. Willy was a kind and gentle soul. He will be missed.

- Linda continues to struggle with her health and keeping her diabetes numbers stable. She continues to feel back pain and asks we continue to pray for her.

- Sandra, Derek, and a friend are living in the woods. They are connected to area resources and look forward to our visit next month. Sandra is grieving the loss of her fiancee who lost his life after being hit by a car in Taunton. Their friend was encouraged to seek medical help due to the yellowing of their skin and mental condition. We offered to call an ambulance but they refused. We hope to see him next month and pray they take our advice.

- We met a new man named James who is in a great state of anger and frustration with a number of things. We pray he gets the resources he needs along with mental health care. James has a wound on his arm that he’s been dealing with for 2 years.

In general, everyone we served was in good spirits and happy with the warm weather. We pray for good health, healing, and provision for our Attleboro friends.

Thank you to the team and to all our supporters who follow us online!
