Jesus on the Streets (3rd Saturday) - March 18, 2023

It was the third Saturday of the month and an overcast day in Brockton, somewhat cold at the start but it turned into a beautiful day. We served 77 meals of corned beef and cabbage along with baked goods, fruit and snacks. We also had a wide assortment of men’s and women’s clothes and toiletries for those in need. (It was a busy day.)

Many more than that received fresh clothes, toiletries and other necessities. Many people were quite distraught about a domestic violence incident that turned into murder this week in Brockton.

We had many opportunities to pray including:

  • Big J wants prayers for his mom with stage 4 cancer.

  • Robert is not taking his medicine.

  • Anthony is hoping for a new apartment and worried about his grandmother who has her food stamps cut. (Like many others.)

  • Felix got his new apartment but cut his hand while moving in.

  • Randy is very depressed with his wife in the hospital.

  • Darryl is sick of living in the shelter and hoping for a job driving trucks.

  • Shawn is praying for a safe place to live that isn’t under a bridge.

  • Charlotte and John just wanted someone to talk to.

  • Donny is still upset about his girlfriend leaving him 4 months ago.

We thank all of you for your love in support in making this ministry possible!
