Brockton - September 29, 2024

It was an incredible day of ministry on the streets of Brockton as we served 126 meals of Dijon chicken to our friends with a small team of 5 people. It was busy. It was emotional. And at times it felt a bit overwhelming. That said, we were blessed to be able to pray with many of our friends.

- Michael is still living in the shelter and trying to stay sober. He asks for prayers for strength.

- Mark and Mickey are praying for blessings

- Our friend Anthony is back in Georgia and praying he gets power back soon (due to the hurricane).

- Charlie was hit by a car, which banged up his knee and destroyed his bike. In addition, while he was getting care, someone was robbing his tent. He needs prayers of healing and provision.

- John John is in the ICU.

- Mike is praying for a home, for his cousin in the hospital, and for his family.

- James (Taz) is very thankful for his new jalopy (electric wheel chair).

- Dennis has tremors caused by bipolar.

- Patrick is picking up food for Robert who is confined to a wheelchair and despondent.

- Chris is heartbroken as his wife was taken off life support and died on Friday.

- Tex needs prayers as he is waiting to get some paperwork squared away and hopes to be entering Teen Challenge.

- Lisa has a cast on her wrist and has an infection. She needs prayers of healing.

- Lucy is still battling addiction and being dope-sick. She is praying for her family and to get off drugs.

- Wendell can no longer afford his apartment. He is hoping to get into a detox program.

- Sara got frost bite on her foot very badly last winter and now has gangrene in her foot. The hospital wants to amputate but she is refusing.

- Milton is praying for safety.

- Erica is asking for prayers of safety. She is troubled that the younger people on the streets are much more violent and prone to stealing from them.

- Heather has an infected cut on her hand.

- Donna (Rocky) said that she’s doing well in recovery.

- Christine can be difficult but today she was quite pleasant. Praise God!

Thank you to Church of Emmanuel and South Shore Community Church for the volunteers within your congregations. Thank you to all our supporters who follow us and pray for us.
