Brockton - September 20, 2025

It was a beautiful day on Saturday when we took a small team of eight into Brockton to serve 104 people a hot meal and cold drinks. With such a small team, we were very busy, but it was extremely fulfilling. It was the 3rd Saturday of the month so we were giving away much needed clothes and toiletries and we shared many prayers and love with our friends on the street. We were also joined by friends who have a ministry called “Restoring Reading Vision” giving out reading glasses. We had people from the following churches helping as volunteers: Church of Emmanuel and Grace Chapel

Here are the prayers from the day:

– Sheila was happy to see us and just asked for general prayer.

– Sue is praying that her children would get off drugs.

– John is praying to experience Jesus.

– Devin is praying to experience his faith more fully.

– Reschel parentheses with the blue eyes parentheses is praying for her boyfriend, Chris.

– Kerri is praying for her kids.

– We met JD in a park and he recited one of his poems called “Faces in the Clouds” and it was really good. He’s hoping to become an author.

– Desiree urgently needed clothes and prayer.

– Kerry and Sean are living in a tent and need protection.

– We had not seen Rashawn in a long time. He said he had misbehaved and the police tased him, which caused a stroke and he is now using a cane. But, for the first time he let us lay hands on him as we prayed.

– Frank said that he needs more work.

– Mark is praying about seizures from alcohol.

– Carlos said that he needs to get a vacation away from Brockton

– Anthony is praying for his family in Georgia.

– Anna was incredibly sad as she feels like she brings love to those around her but doesn’t receive any. We had a good time of prayer.

– Hector wanted prayers for his heart as he is still sad for his daughter who passed away. When he learned that my brother-in-law had recently died, he promised to be praying for me and my sister.

– Jax is praying for health as she claims that most of the shelter is currently sick.

We thank you also very much for your support of LYNN Ministries and we pray that these updates find you well and that you will be inspired to pray for our friends out on the street. Thank you all and God bless!
