Brockton - October 19, 2025

Here is an update from the LYNN Ministries team at The Fellowship who served 104 meals in Brockton on Sunday. We are so thankful for all the volunteer teams that serve with us!

The perfect weather brought many people out in the city today. We enjoyed sharing a hot meal with our friends while listening to their hearts and sharing moments for prayer and encouragement.

Thanks to generous donations, we were able to pass out much-appreciated sweatshirts to more than 50 friends. We also experienced the joy of having someone pray to receive Christ as their savior. As always, the one-on-one conversations and the opportunities to bless others left team members with hearts grateful for those God put in our path today. One first-time team member shared how looking into the eyes of those she served enabled her to see the person behind the outer, often disheveled appearance. We pray that we always see everyone we encounter as God sees them.

In your times of prayer, please remember some specific needs and victories:

- We lift up Kelly, who asks for protection from the dangers of the streets.

- We pray for Seamus, who does not know Christ, yet asks us to pray for him to have a heart of gratitude toward others.

- We pray for Sue, whose 21 year old daughter is an addict and in need of a drastic, life-altering interdiction.

- We praise God that Kafi received Christ as Savior today. We pray for Kafi's growth. We also pray that Kafi would be able to put aside enough money to be united with his young daughter, who is presently in Haiti.

- We praise God for Sal, who is always a bright light in a place where darkness often prevails.

- We pray for God's protection and provision for Chris and Joanne, a couple living in the shelter but hopeful for a better day.

- We ask God to soften the hearts of the many who are cold to the hope of the Gospel.

Thank you to all who lift up LYNN Ministries in your prayers, through your contributions, and your willingness to serve!
