Brockton - May 26, 2024
Last Sunday’s LYNN Ministries team in Brockton was serving without me and Deb as we were at a wedding. It was a hot day but beautiful skies and weather. They served 102 meals across multiple locations. Here is the report.
We gave out poppies for Memorial Day and people were so happy to receive them. Here are today’s prayer requests.
- James (not in wheelchair) needs to save his money to change apartments. (He shares an apt with a common kitchen, showers, etc.)
- Linda (Sniqrz) is doing well but misses Anthony
- Freddy thanked us for his poppy and said it reminded him of childhood
- Shaggy has not been taking his meds because they make his head feel fuzzy and make his back hurt.
- Mary asked Joann to pray with her many needs
- Luis asked for prayer for his sister who lives in Puerto Rico and she needs housing and safety
- Breydon is a first timer. He is blind and has a friend who walks him around town.
- Johnny Walker (perhaps a street name?) has many health issues
- Harry and Lavern are living in a tent and pray for safety
- Kevin had three heart attacks nad needs prayer
- Michael (Polish) was in a good state of mind today and has a job cleaning houses
- John’s truck is not running well and needs work
- Lisa had a blood transfusion and that seemed to help. She was pretty happy and is hoping to keep living
- James (wheelchair) has been in the same housing for 13 years but is now having problems with this neighbors. He also needs help with his Dunkies app for placing coffee orders (with his wheelchair it’s easier to order ahead).
We thank you all so much for your ongoing support of this ministry that brings us such joy in serving and has become a weekly lifeline for so many!
