Brockton - May 10, 2026

Sunday was great day of service for LYNN Ministries in Brockton as the team served 86 meals to our friends on the streets. The day went so smoothly that the team thought they served far fewer than that!

Sunday’s team included volunteers from the following churches: Church of Emmanuel, Jesus Revolution Church, Grace Chapel, St. Mary's Foxboro

Jairah and Sheri were leading most of the prayers and here is the list:

- Kerianne is 7 weeks pregnant. She is looking forward to being able to see her children today because it’s Mothers Day. (She stopped drinking and is being granted time with her children.)

- Rochelle looks amazing. She is full of faith. Rochelle commented, "God did not lose me I lost Him! But now I am back with Him, full of faith!"

- Enoch is praying for family back in Dominican Republic.

- Lisa's sciatica is better and she was walking versus using her chair walker.

- Jesse "Legend" asking for Deb and Jeep. He was bringing a meal to someone recovering from knee surgery. He’s such a gentleman full of charisma - he was very kind.

- GQ John is planning to move after he takes care of his teeth.

- Jason is experiencing symptoms of a concussion with blurriness and instability. He mentioned that he is receiving care, but continues to work in landscaping.

- Becca is estranged from her children and was struggling with Mother's Day. Prayed about loving from a distance.

- Bruins John was able to receive a meal in his apartment building as he recovers from surgery. He wants to check himself into a nursing home.

- Michael was out of sorts. We saw him at the last stop. He is having to take the responsibilities of his boss who is out with an injury. Michael is feeling stress with working in this capacity managing people.

- Shaggy looked tired. He was on another bike which looked pretty good. He appeared to be well, although dealing with cancer.

- Collette is recovering from a hospital stay. She was in good spirits though.

- Anthony said that he will no longer need to sleep in a car because he will have housing soon.

Our team member Paula served on one of the cooking teams and hadn’t been out on the streets before. She was impressed by how well the LYNN team knows our friends on the streets. She commented that the food that she helps make goes to the hands of real people.

The team wrapped up at Dunkin and all remarked on a great day! So wonderful having Tracey out with the team again after a brief hiatus. Thank you to all those who made it possible to be serving in Brockton on Mother’s Day.
