Brockton - February 1, 2026
Here’s a write up from the LYNN Ministries team that served on Sunday.
It was -10° with the windchill in Brockton and very few people wanted to stay and talk with us. We served chicken Dijon meals to 20 people, but saw more than that. Very few of our friends were out on the street, thankfully, as it was dangerously cold. Sheila was waiting for when we arrived and one gentleman received a new coat and was so excited as he works outside. It was difficult to understand because he only speaks Spanish, but he was very happy and accepted prayer with a big smile. Mary and Becca accepted quick prayers snd ggen scooted inside to get warm. Our friends living in the woods were not around, so we’re hoping they were inside someplace safe and warm. The team definitely suffered with very very cold fingers due to the windchill, but everyone was serving with a happy heart despite the elements.
Thank you to all those who keep us supplied with the things our friends need, especially love!
