Brockton - April 13, 2025

Here is an update from the LYNN Ministries team that served last Sunday in Brockton.

It was a fairly cold, rainy day but God is faithful and we all gad warm hearts. We served about 70 friends and heard a lot of requests for housing and the need for vouchers to get apartments. Here are the prayer requests:

Richard - wants out of the shelter and a peaceful place to live

Fred - asked for blessings for himself, his family, and the world

Rochelle & Chris - (both have bruises on their eyes) Rochelle asked for prayers for her son Noah that he may stay strong and continue to be a good kid

Jason - He's recently out of prison trying to figure things out. He asked who we were, why we provided food and was very skeptical and cautious but talked with us. Was very glad to get a meal.

Jay Linn - praying that he's in a good mood and that he keeps going on with life

Mary - is out of the hospital and is using her oxygen in her apartment. She needs smaller oxygen tanks to get around and is having problems with the supply company in getting these small tanks

Joe - for peace that he doesn't worry about things

Tim - has been on the streets about 8 months (first time we've seen him) lost his apartment and has a voucher but needs to straighten things out before he can get an apartment

David - lost his apartment doesn't know why, he's in the shelter and needs a voucher for a place to live.

(Polish) Michael and Bethany- sleeping under the bridge but he's thankful that they are together as that's what matters. Has a job fixing fences and worked 10 hours last week. Can't get a voucher for housing due to some complications (not very specific).

Jara - prayers for family

Rebekah - got her disability and connected with her sister. Praying for housing

Jo - believes in God please pray for him that he finds peace and no worries

Marie - pray for her daughter to believe in Jesus and pray for her son Kingston

Rochelle - prayer for son Noah and her friend Chris

Shaggy - was beat up and robbed and spent a month in the hospital. He needs a plate for his cheek bone but does not want to go back to BMC

Thank you all for following LYNN Ministries and supporting us through prayer, time, and contributions. We are praying for you all.
