Attleboro - March 8, 2025

Here is a post from the LYNN Ministries team from Beacon Covenant Church, Attleboro that served on Saturday in Attleboro.

It was a nice sunny, but breezy day that we enjoyed out serving the Lord's children. We were able to serve about 40 people with men's and women's clothing, homemade baked goods, fruit, snacks, prayer, and encouragement. The Lord has answered a lot of our prayers, by finding some temporary housing for many of the folks we were serving outdoors, just 2-3 months ago. Most of these folks are staying temporarily inside with friends or relatives, and still lack a permanent address, but at least they are warm.

Still, the city’s warming center has been well occupied on cold nights below 27 degrees. We still have several friends living outside, who need our prayers: Bob, Eric, Carrie, Paul, Sandy, Derek, Mike, Jessica, George, and others. In addition, we ask prayers for:

- John, a kind soul who was overjoyed to receive a couple of pair of sweatpants. His sister is helping to take care of him, but she is having a tough time making ends meet, and he fears that he may have to go to a group home. Prayers for John and his sister for hope and peace, that he can continue to receive his benefits, and she can help to provide for him.

- Paul, who always is grateful, polite, and welcomes prayer. He's living outside, and is looking for work with his plumbing, landscaping, and carpentry skills. We pray he will find work soon, so he can find a room over his head.

- We met some new people, Jean, Amanda, and Dan, who were extremely grateful for all that we were able to give.

Thanks to all of you for your support in the form of donations, prayer, and service. God Bles you all.
