Jesus on the Streets (on Easter Sunday) - April 9, 2023
What a beautiful Easter Day serving on the streets of Brockton. We served 112 meals (a choice of ham or chicken) along with veggies, home baked goods, Easter Eggs (real and candy) and we also served Communion to 15 of our friends, many of whom haven’t tasted communion in years. It was so great to have our son and his girlfriend join us today!
There were also many prayer requests.
- Karen is praying for a new home.
- Donna is asking for prayers for strength.
- Marisela put Mark on video so I could pray with him for clarity and direction. And she is asking for prayers for her 5 kids.
- Richelle is asking for prayers to get her 8 year old boy back and for housing.
- Vincent us asking for prayers for guidance about a 2nd job.
- Wayne is 17 years sober. Yay! He’s asking for prayers for his aunt who needs a pacemaker.
- Elizabeth is asking for prayers for her kids living with her mom.
- Derek is new to the streets and just seems broken. Please pray for his protection.
- Donald and Cheryl are now living in a motel as their apartment building was condemned.
- Junior is not controlling his diabetes.
- Christina is mourning the 1 year anniversary of her sister dying.
- Andrea is mourning that her baby daddy was murdered last week.
- Bobby needs prayers for healing for his neck.
- Sammy is getting bullied with people throwing bottles at him for “fun”. He’s hoping to move back to Kenya for good.
Happy Easter to all our friends, supporters, and volunteers!
