Brockton - November 17, 2024
Here is an update from the LYNN Ministries team at The Fellowship who served 104 people on the streets of Brockton today.
It was a perfect Fall day which meant many of our friends were out and looking forward to visiting and enjoying a meal. We served 104 people a warm meatball sandwich with salad, and lots of love! Our team was unusually large as we had several first time participants and a Haitian couple join in serving.
People were in good spirits and ready to share and engage in meaningful conversation and prayer. With the Creole language barrier removed, we had some exceptionally deep, rich conversations above and beyond those we normally experience.
- Twice today friends asked for prayer and expressed a desire to overcome homelessness and turn their lives down a new path.
- We also had prayer requests for others who are sick, hurting, or lost.
- Carlos asked for prayer for his friend Nielsen who is at Good Sam hospital where he's being treated for a serious heart condition.
- Marie asked for prayer for her daughter Stacey who does not know Jesus and is making poor choices for herself and her young daughter.
Please join us in asking God to intervene supernaturally in the lives of those who truly want to experience change. He is able.
